Ibiza Town Encompassing Figueretas to the East
and Talamanca to the West there are a number of places to stay which are still
within striking distance of the town. The most fascinating part of Ibiza you
can shop in the harbour or the new town, grab some tapas in the Vara de Rey,
sightsee in the Dalt Vila, catch the hydrofoil to Formentera or visit the superclubs
in the marina.
Talamanca This lovely little bay is just behind the Marina close
to Ibiza Town and boasts a sweeping narrow beach and some great restaurants.
Very peaceful but only a 15 minutes walk into Ibiza Town.
Figueretas An extension
of Ibiza Town, Figueretas is one of the most established resorts in Ibiza and
has a mixture of cafés, bars and restaurants with views out to Formentera.
Playa d’en Bossa A large and increasingly young resort, the Blue Flag beach
makes this resort a great place for sun worshippers. Familes are moving on to
San Antonio Bay and Santa Eulalia in July & August. Also the home of the
waterpark, Bora Bora and Space.
San Antonio The second largest resort on Ibiza,
San Antonio has pavement cafés, fountains and the largest natural harbour
in Europe. Great value nightclife, sunset cafés and the new promenade
mean that San Antonio is as popular as ever.
San Antonio Bay With many little
beaches dotted along it’s length the Bay is ideal for families with older
children as there is a great variety of entertainment and accommodation as well
as the water taxi service to the town. The fastest growing resort in Ibiza.
Cala
Llonga A magnificent wide sandy beach and shallow waters, pineclad hills and
entertainment in the hotels and bars of this resort make it ideal for families
with young children.
Santa Eulalia Open all year round, Santa Eulalia is a beloved
destination of many famillies, gastronomes and couples. Busy and bustling this
is a perfect Mediterranean destination with an excellent sandy beach, harbour
and restaurants galore.
Es Cana Home to the weekly Hippy Market, Es Cana enjoys
a fine sandy beach and a reputation as a mecca for families. Small fishing boats
bob around the harbour and many of the large hotels have family entertinment.
Portinatx A great mini-resort with many all inclusive hotels and good standard
apartment complexes. There are three beaches to choose from and watersports from
all. A good family resort.
Cala Vadella The broad, sandy beach has plenty of
space even in the height of season, with many boats bobbing between the cliffs.
Very protected so ideal on a windy day there are little beach bars and restaurants
dotted around this quiet resort. |
