Ibiza Clubbing Guide

Space Basically a day and a nightclub! Like most of the large clubs here Space has multiple rooms so you can enjoy trance in the main room and house on the terrace. The home of Carl Cox and We Love Space. Undoubtedly, THE opening and closing party of the season. Entry from 30 euros.

Pacha One of the best known clubs from Ibiza, Pacha is pure glamour. From Swedish House Mafia on Monday nights to Pure Pacha with on Fridays, again there are multiple rooms to choose from and the top terrace is the perfect place to watch the sun come up. Entry from 30 euros.

El Divino Set right on the yacht harbour El Divino is a classy nightclub with one huge room and a terrace with a view over to Ibiza Town. Their busiest night is Fierce Angels but if that’s a little too cramped then try Carwash and if you thought Carwash was all classic disco then think again. Its all about the Disco revolution, Carwash has evolved to encompass a  new scene,  joining the disco dots between the classic and the nu sounds. Its status worldwide is set to explode disco onto the Ibiza scene this summer.  Entry from 25 euros.

Privilege A really international club with events from Ibiza and many different countries. The largest club in the world is based in the centre of the island in San Rafael and it’s distintcive dome can be seen as you head up to San Antonio from Ibiza Town. Luckily, the disco bus runs right past the club so it’s a doddle getting back to your hotel in the morning. Entry from 30 euros.

Amnesia Best known as the location for Cream, Amnesia has expanded over the years and they always come up with a new little bar, theme or VIP area! The ice cannons are very welcome at four in the morning whilst you listen to Roger Sanchez or Tiësto and we highly recommend a snorkel and a open mind for the foam party too. Entry from 30 euros.

Es Paradis The first of San Antonio’s major clubs, Es Paradis is light white and full of gardens. Always with a line-up that appeals to the British market, Es Paradis hosts the water paties and fills up it’s central dancefloor to Singin’ In The Rain. Entry free – 45 euros.

Eden Part owned by Mr Judge Jules Eden is known for a wide variety of styles – one night hard, the next garage, the next RnB. Eden always has a good line up and is right opposite Es Paradis – just to give you the choice. Entry free – 45 euros.

Pre-club Bars

IN SAN ANTONIO

Mambo, Savannah, Coastline, Kanya and the rest of the bars on the sunset strip. Head down from about 8pm in the evening and hit the cocktails as the sun goes down. Perfect places for pre-parties.

Bar M – home to Manumission, Bar M now headlines many great bands with Ibiza Rocks. Check out the DJs at Orange Corner or Bay Bar just nearby.

Plastik – In it’s brand new home just by the egg, forever cool Plastik will be back pleasing the masses this Summer.

Kumharas – down in Cala de Bou on the by of San Antonio you’ll find this fantasticly hippy hang out. Right on the seafront the restaurant, atmosphere and clientele are all extremely cool and everyone is welcome – from bare footed kids to droopy tongued dogs.

IN IBIZA TOWN
You’ll find most of the bars centred around the old port of Ibiza Town dominated by Café Mambo’s sister bar, Rock Bar and Base Bar. Try also Bar Zuka at the far end or stroll through the back streets.

For something a little different and with a little more flavour try the jazz bar and the bars around Plaza España off the main Vara de Rey.

Keeper on the harbour or the bar within El Hotel Pacha are great places to head on your way to Pacha or El Divino.

IN SANTA EULALIA
Guaraná music bar on the marina is open until late and has many visiting DJs fro Ibiza Town and San Antonio. With a great selection of cocktails and an outdoor terrace, there are live events every night and doors close at 6am.

OUT OF TOWN
One of our favourite places to chill is KM5. As well as the fantastic restaurant there are so many little nooks and crannies to kick off you shoes and snuggle into a corner that you’ll be lost for choice. Great staff too.

Try El Privado at El Ayoun in Sant Rafael (all red and funky) or the L’Elephant top terrace (open air, very white and full of sofas and low lighting) – surely the bar with the best views on the island.

Bambuddah Grove on the way to Portinatx is also perfect for a drink as well as a meal, and we discovered Aura is the perfect gastro-pub this year too. Casa Colonial is also an unusual place to start your night but has a superb cocktail bar.
